You have the right to delete your Bhakti Club account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to request deletion.
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription or UPI AutoPay mandate. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it separately — from within the app before deleting, via your UPI app, or through your bank — otherwise it may continue to renew and charge you even after your account is gone. See our Terms of Use for cancellation options.
What Gets Deleted
- Your phone number and account credentials
- All your saved favourites (wallpapers, ringtones, mantras)
- Your notification preferences
- All other personal data associated with your account
What Is Retained
- Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (no personally identifiable information) — retained for up to 12 months for service improvement.
- Records required by law (e.g., transaction logs, if any) — retained for the legally required period.
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Bhakti Club app on your device.
- Tap the Settings tab (bottom navigation).
- Tap "Delete Account" and confirm.
- Your account and associated data are deleted immediately, and you'll be signed out.
Option 2: Request via Email
Send an email from the phone number registered to your account (or mention it in the email) to:
Subject: "Delete My Bhakti Club Account"
Include your registered phone number in the email. We will verify your request and process the deletion promptly, and send a confirmation.
Timeline
- Deleting from within the app removes your account and personal data immediately.
- Deletion requested by email is processed promptly after we verify it's genuinely you.
- Deleted data may persist briefly in encrypted backups until they naturally roll off our standard backup cycle.
